- How often should I clean the WASHLET?
Clean WASHLET regularly or immediately once you notice any stains or waste. It is easier to clean WASHLET if you keep stains and waste from accumulating. - How do I clean the WASHLET?
i) Unplug from power outlet.
ii) Wipe the surface of the WASHLET with a soft, damp cloth, you may use a neutral or diluted detergent if necessary.
iii) Wipe the inside and outside of the WASHLET lid as well.
iv) Be sure to also clean the sides, back and areas where WASHLET touches the ceramic toilet bowl.
[CAUTION] WASHLET is protected with TOTO’s CLEAN RESIN which repels dirt and grime. Do not clean with a paper towel, scrub pad, abrasive brushes or harsh chemicals to protect it. - How do I clean the WASHLET wand?
i) On the back of the WASHLET remote control, under MENU, select CLEANING, then select WAND CLEANING. The wand will extend into the bowl and spray water.
[NOTE]The steps for extending the WASHLET wand may vary depending on the model. Please see the instruction manual for details on how to extend the WASHLET wand.
ii) While the extended wand is spraying water, clean the wand with a soft cloth.
[CAUTION]Use only a neutral or diluted detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals, scrub pad or abrasive brushes, as these can damage the specialized coating.
iii) After cleaning, press STOP on the remote control to retract the wand. For safety, the wand will automatically retract after 5 minutes if no action is taken. - How do I clean deodorizing filter?
i) Unplug from power outlet.
ii) Gently pull the deodorizing filter out and clean with a dry toothbrush.
iii) If the filter is very dirty, you can also rinse it with water. Please be sure that the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it.
iv) After cleaning, carefully reinsert the filter into the WASHLET, push it back to the filter slot until a “click” sound is heard.
v) Plug the unit back into the power outlet. The LED light should light up again. - How do I clean the space between WASHLET and the toilet bowl?
i) Unplug from power outlet.
ii) Press the quick release button on the right side of the WASHLET and gently pull it towards you. It is important to do this gently as the water supply hose and power cord are attached.
iii) Clean the gap on the surface of the bowl with a soft, damp cloth.
iv) Reinstall the WASHLET by centering it on the toilet and gently sliding the WASHLET backward until you hear the “click” in place.
v) When reinstalled correctly, the WASHLET bidet seat will not detach even when gently pulled.
vi) Plug the unit back into the power outlet. The LED light should light up again. - How do I clean the gap between WASHLET seat and its lid?
i) Remove the WASHLET bidet seat lid by slightly tilting it forward, gently pulling its left side outward, disconnecting the hinge from the tab and gently pulling it up.
ii) Disconnect the right side.
iii) Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
iv) Join the pin and hinge on the right side, then slightly tilt the lid forward while gently pulling the left side outward to join the tab and hinge. Be careful not to pinch your fingers.
v) Open and close the lid to check that its correctly reinstalled. - How do I clean the water filter drain valve?
i) Turn off water supply valve.
• For Normal Stop Valve, turn the valve clockwise.
• For Pull-stop Valve, pull out the circular handle.
ii) Press the WAND CLEANING function on the back of the WASHLET remote control to open the wand cover and extend the wand. (Under Menu, Select CLEANING, then select WAND CLEANING)
iii) Press STOP on the WASHLET remote control, and unplug the unit from power outlet.
iv) Remove the filter drain cover on the left rear side of the WASHET, loosen water filter drain valve with a flathead screwdriver, then gently pull it out.
v) Clean the filter drain with a toothbrush under running water. Gently remove any debris from around the hole where the water filter drain valve inserts.
vi) Reinstall the water filter drain valve and use a flathead screwdriver to tighten it securely. Replace the cover.
vii) Plug the unit back into the power outlet. The LED light should light up again. - What if the water doesn’t spray?
i) Hard Reset: Unplug the unit for 30 seconds and plug it back in to reset the internal processor.
ii) Water Valve: Ensure the shut-off valve is fully open and the water filter (located at the water inlet) isn’t clogged with sediment.
