ATAP Design Awards (ADA) 2023
This year’s ATAP Design Awards was nothing short of enriching learnings and design brilliance. The 3-days insightful event allowed interior designers to explore new design possibilities and opportunities, aligning with this year’s theme “Embracing Talents, Creating Change”.
With that being said, we at W.Atelier Malaysia are thrilled and deeply honored to express our heartfelt appreciation to ATAP for the privilege of being invited as this year’s ADA 2023 Prestige Sponsor. This opportunity is not just a collaboration; it is a testament to shared values, mutual vision, and the belief in creating something extraordinary together.

Day 1 – ADA Designer Conference
The ADA Week kicked off with the ADA Designer Conference held on the 7th of December. During the event, industry experts from Malaysia and Southeast Asia gathered to share their work and experience to design enthusiasts and architects. We believe that the conference helped designers gained invaluable insights and a glimpse into the latest trends in the world of design.
In addition to the conference, a unique Design Fusion event was also held on the day, in which all of the ADA sponsors and brand partners set up their respective booths at the conference. Each brand, including ourselves, were paired with an interior designer of their choice to come up a unique booth to showcase innovation, collaboration, and design.
With that, we would like to show our upmost appreciation to Doubble Interior for their commitment and dedication in making TOTO’s booth setup a huge success. We hope that we’ll be able to collaborate more together in the near future.
Day 2 – ADA Award Ceremony & Gala Dinner
The following day, 8th December 2023, was when the ADA Award Ceremony & Gala dinner took place at the prestigious JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. It was a wonderful night full of appreciation and celebration to the interior designers community for their contribution to the design world. We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this ceremony as it was an eye-opening event. Seeing so many opulent designs and craftsmanship gave us the believe that the future of the interior design industry is extremely bright and we could not be any more proud of the talents that we have here in Malaysia.

Day 3 – ADA Winners Gallery Showcase & Appreciation Event
The final day of the ADA week was held at none other than our very own W.Atelier Malaysia TOTO showroom located at Jalan Utara, Petaling Jaya. The Winners Gallery Showcase featured all the winning projects and their ingenious creators. All of the guests had the opportunity to explore the winning projects, ranging from private residences to beautiful commercial spaces. Enthusiasts of the industry appreciated each other’s work, networked among themselves, and experienced the beauty of Malaysia’s finest designs.
And lastly, an brand new category was introduced on the final day and the return of another; the ADA Student Icons and ATAP Picks 2023. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners and hope that you’ll continue to inspire the design world with your wonderful works.
