Here are some aspects you need to consider first before selecting a Washlet:-

Is there access to electricity?

Because Washlet uses electricity for its functions and features, it’ll need to be plugged into an outlet. Power outlet installation might be necessary if there is none near the toilet.

What is the size and shape of your toilet?

To attach Washlet to the toilet you currently use, pay close attention to the size and shape of the toilet as they vary by design. Most likely you’ll be able to use Washlet, but it all depends on the size and shape.

Is there anything near the toilet?

You’ll need to make sure there is nothing around the toilet that may obstruct the installation. With Washlet, your current toilet will become a little bigger. If the room is not wide enough, or if there is anything around the toilet that could get in the way, it may not be possible to attach the Washlet. As a guide, there should be at least about 30 cm to the left and right of your current toilet.

Is your toilet located in a place where it is subjected to water on a daily basis?

Attaching Washlet to a toilet that is subjected to excessive amounts of water from the shower, or using water to clean the entire toilet, may result in failure of Washlet.
